Orioles Re-sign Michael Bourn

According to Rock Kubatko, MASNSports, the Baltimore Orioles have re-signed left-handed outfielder Michael Bourn. A minor league deal. Dan Connolly, Baltimorebaseball.com, reports that  Bourn can make two million if called up to the MLB club.

Bourn has good speed as has been a good defensive outfielder throughout his career.

Bourn had good stats after being acquired by the Orioles for the pennant race last season. His Baltimore slash line over 24 games was .283 BA .358 OBP and .793 OPS.

Jerry Crasnick, ESPN, states that he has details of a March 27th opt out in the deal should Michael Bourn not be added to the 25 man roster of the Baltimore Orioles.
