Mother’s Day Meltdown, Swept 9-8

Kevin Gausman was staked to a five nothing lead. The winning run was on second with one out. The Tying one one third. A horrible loss.

Starting Pitcher

Kevin Gausman.

He gave them all back in a third of an inning. All of them. Does Ubaldo take his spot and Edwin Jackson take Ubaldo’s? Just a horrid performance.

Relief Pitching

Richard Bleier Lost the game. He gave up three runs in two innings.

Mychal Givens gave up the real winning homer.

Caleb Joseph had three hits, including what could have been a game tying double. He also homered. Red Hot.

Chris Davis homered and singled and walked three times.

Joey Rickard played center-field.

Manny Machado erred again.

Michael Williams
Michael Williams has been an Orioles fan since the sixties when his family moved from Reading Pa to York Pa. Also, the Phillies and 1964. His Grandfather got the Chef Boyardee box seats and Mike was hooked. Brooks Robinson calls him not a fan, but a friend. He has been a member of the Orioles Hangout since early in the New Millennium and Managing Editor since 2011. Or so it seems. He lives in Harrisburg PA, down by the river. Not currently in a van.
