Chris Tillman allowed four runs over a rocky five innings. He threw 104 Pitches. The Orioles are having a hard time scoring other than by the long ball.

Starting Pitcher

Tillman walked two, allowed nine hits and struck out only three.

Relief Pitching

Tillman was relieved by Swiss Army Alec Asher.

Darren O’Day pitched the eighth after the Orioles closed to within one run.

Brad Brach pitched the ninth inning.


J.J. Hardy, Chris Davis, and Jonathan Schoop all hit solo homers.

Davis chose not to swing at three consecutive strikes with the tying run at second and two outs in the eighth.

Schoop grounded into a ninth inning double play.



Trey Mancini committed an error in left field.
