Richard Passwater

Dylan Bundy allowed a home run to Hanley Ramirez with a man aboard that gave Boston their lead. He did pitch five innings and struck out four. He by default became the Orioles Hangout player of the night.

Starting Pitcher

Bundy did run a fairly high pitch count navigating the potent Boston lineup with several three two counts before resolution. He only pitched the five innings and that was somewhat disappointing. His season ERA is still under three though.

Relief Pitching

Richard Bleier pitched two clean innings of relief.  He allowed a single hit.

Ubaldo Jimenez is the Orioles third highest paid player. He allowed two runs in an inning of work. It might have made a difference.

Donnie Hart allowed a run in his inning. His ERA is mid fours now.

Hitting

Manny Machado homered. A solo shot.

Mark Trumbo and Trey Mancini rallied in the ninth.

Fielding

The Orioles turned two double plays.

Mark Trumbo did not make a catch on a ball he slid towards. But it cost nothing other than pitches.
