Club sources report that Chris Tillman will return to the Orioles for the 2018 season. Tillman has been working out at the Ed Smith Complex this off-season, looking to rebound from a dismal 2017 campaign. Reports indicated that the Blue Jays, Twins, and Phillies also had interest/offers. The Tigers had him throw for them on Saturday.

Tillman is said to be receiving a one year three million dollar base MLB contract with incentives that could push his totals closer to ten million.

The Orioles signed right-hander Andrew Cashner to help fill out a sparse rotation last week as well.

Club EVP Dan Duquette indicated in Roch Kubatko’s column that he is still looking for starting pitching in the market.

Talk about it here.
