If there was an amount of money the Orioles were willing to pay that Manny was willing to accept to stay here long term, a deal would have taken place already. Given where things are, I can only conclude that he has no desire to play here after the end of the year. If you have evidence of the contrary, I’d love to hear it. Otherwise, this suggestion is no different than saying the O’s just need to sign Bryce Harper or trade for Mike Trout.
