Kevin Gausman was at this best tonight allowing no runs on two hits and two walks over nine innings of work, but the Orioles offense was pitiful once again as Oakland wins 2-0 in the 12th.

Player of Game:

Kevin Gausman was easily the player of the game.

Starting Pitching:

–  Gausman tossed nine shutout innings, allowing just two hits and two walks with six strikeouts.

Highlighted hitting moments:
– Mark Trumbo and went two for five with a double.
– The Orioles struck out 20 times in 12 innings. Pitiful and embarrassing.

Highlighted pitching moments:
– Gausman threw a 98 MPH fastball on his 109th pitch in the 9th inning.
– Mychal Givens struck out 5 of the 6 batters he faced
– Pedro Araujo only got one out in the 12th before throwing a meat fastball to Kris Davis for a two-run walk off homer. Araujo has decent stuff, but just not ready to be in close games yet.

Highlighted defensive plays
Anthony Santander made a nice running catch at the wall to take away a double and a potential run.
