If you love baseball, you will love the latest addition of Out of the Park 19 (OOTP). The latest addition brings a much-needed upgraded interface and additional animations to their 3D play that includes arms and legs for the players.

That may sound funny, but they were little peg guys before. The new animations are better but still lacking overall. My biggest concern with the graphics is a lot of the plays at first base now make the runner look safe when they are called out.

The OOTP designers have desires to get more and more graphical which I love since for me it adds excitement to the sims. I have dreams of “The Show” like graphics with historical uniforms and stadiums simming out my season replays. We can all dream right?

Although OOTP has always had a long learning curve for new users, they have a ton on manuals and videos to help you through if you get stuck. The depth of this simulation covers everything from organizational finances, complete farm systems, to every move possible with your major league team including all real transaction rules like 40-man, options, etc.

I could explain all the new features, but why not let lead developer Markus Heinsohn explain in this video.
