Cameron Bishop was signed at the final moments, or a few minutes after, of the draft deadline last season. He was a replacement for a fourth rounder who failed a physical. Last night he pitched his first professional complete game for the Frederick Keys. He is the Orioles Hangout Player of the night.

(31-28) Tides [AAA] Won 6 to 4

(26-32) Baysox [AA] Lost 5 to 3

(30-29) Keys [A+] Won 10 to 3

  • Ryan McKenna tripled and singled twice. He walked twice as well.
  • Cristian Alvarado allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out six and walked none.

(33-27) Shorebirds [A] Won 6 to 1

  • Cameron Bishop pitched the complete double header first game. He allowed a single run over three hits and a walk. He struck out three.
  • Ryan Ripken went three for four with a double.

(33-27) Shorebirds [A] Won 8 to 4

Michael Williams has been an Orioles fan since the sixties when his family moved from Reading Pa to York Pa. Also, the Phillies and 1964.
