- Ryan Mountcastle was three for four. He raked each ball straight up the middle. Ever struck ball had the sound of thunder.
- Keegan Akin was brilliant for seven innings. Allowing only on run while striking out nine.
- Zac Lowther pitched five scoreless innings, striking out four.
