Alex Cobb pitched a spectacular game. Renato Nunez had his coming out party, And Mike Wright Jr. is the mystery closer! Sort of.

Alex Cobb pitched six innings allowing seven hits. But only one run. He struck out six and walked none.

Mark Trumbo did not play. Adam Jones had a hit on his 33rd birthday. Trey Mancini had three singles.

Renato Nunez doubled twice and singled in four attempts. A true Yankee Killer.

Cody Carroll made his Orioles debut allowing only a double and no runs.

Mychal Givens continues his Pedro Strop pre Cubs trade impression. He allowed a run in a third of an inning. Paul Fry saved him from worse. But.

Mike Wright Jr. came in for a single out with two of Paul’s soldiers standing. He allowed the three run homer. The Orioles Still won.

Nunez and new Oriole Breyvic Valera both erred. Mr Cobb was not impressed.
