2018 Stats
Current/Future/Ceiling Grades: 25/40/45

What we know:

Left-hander with underwhelming stuff, but above average control. Fastball sits 88-91, but his best pitch is his slider. His changeup is well below average. Although his control is above average, his command is still a work in progress. Has shown the ability to get young hitters out with his fastball slider combination, but it remains to be seen whether that will hold up as he moves up the chain.

What we don’t know:

Will his changeup improve? Can he find more consistency.

What we think:

Bishop will have to prove it at each level as most scouts don’t believe his stuff will play at the highest levels. There are some that think his fastball, slider combination could play in relief, and it’s probably his best chance of pitching in the majors.
