First winning series of 2019. Yankee fans are already rioting.

Starting Pitching

Dylan Bundy walks five and strikes out seven instead of allowing homers. He gave up the tree runs he left on base when he exited in the fourth inning.

Other Pitching

John Means takes over for the win. He pitched three and a third innings.  He allowed five hits including a home run to allow an earned run on his record.  The left hander struck out five Yankees and walked only one.

Paul Fry saves the day relieving  Mychal Givens, who pitched the eighth and two outs of the ninth.

Hitting Highlights

Orioles homer three times. Renato Nunez drove in three in the first inning. Trey Mancini  soled to dead center. Joey Rickard hit a Yankee right porcher.

Dwight Smith Jr. (given up on by the Blue Jays) doubled again and drove a run in with a single.

Fielding Exploits

Mychal Givens erred to make things very close. Rick Dempsey is in LOVE with Pedro Severino‘s defense.
