The Orioles took a lead into the ninth but non-closer Mychal Givens could not hold it. In the eleventh Chris Davis and Joey Rickard came through to plate the winner.

Starter

Andrew Cashner was fine again with a five inning two run six strike out performance. He walked one and gave up a homer.

Other Pitching

Jimmy Yacabonis held the line for an inning and a third, but Paul Fry, Evan Phillips, and Givens all gave up a run in their stints.
John Means pitched the final two extra innings and was perfect, with some defensive help.

Hitting

Pedro Severino had his first Orioles homer. Joey Rickard went four for five with a double and a triple. Dwight Smith Jr. and Trey Mancini also doubled.

Fielding

Renato Nunez erred, but Cedric Mullins came through in the eleventh with a lay out defensive gem to help out Means.
