Bruce Zimmermann surrendered 1 unearned run on 5 hits with 7 strikeouts over 6.0 innings pitched. Despite the quality start, he did not factor into the decision.  He is the Orioles Hangout MiLB Player of the Day.

BOWIE BAYSOX (4-14WON 2-1 AT ERIE– AA• Jesmuel Valentin went 1 for 4 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun, 1 RBI and 1 strikeout.• Zach Pop surrendered 4 hits with 1 strikeout over 2.0 innings of relief.

FREDERICK KEYS (8-10LOST 8-1 AT FAYETTEVILLE – A (ADV.)• Trevor Craport went 1 for 4 with 1 run scored.• Brenan Hanifee surrendered 8 runs on 10 hits with 1 walk, 2 strikeouts, 1 wils pitch and 1 hit batter.

DELMARVA SHOREBIRDS (14-2) WON 7-0OVER ASHEVILLE – A (LOW)• Doran Turchin went 1 for 3 with 2 runs scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout and 1 stolen base.• Ofelky Peralta gave up no runs and 2 hits with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts over 4.0 innings pitched.

Michael Williams has been an Orioles fan since the sixties when his family moved from Reading Pa to York Pa. Also, the Phillies and 1964. His Grandfather got the Chef Boyardee box seats and Mike was hooked. Brooks Robinson calls him not a fan, but a friend.
