Austin Hays went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun, 3 RBI and 1 strikeout in Frederick’s win over Myrtle Beach.  It was the second game in a row that he has hit a homerun.  He is the Orioles Hangout MiLB Player of the Day.

NORFOLK TIDES (20-22) LOST 4-3 TO DURHAM – AAA

  • Ryan Mountcastle went 1 for 4 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun, 2 RBI and 1 strikeout.
  • Tyler Herb gave up 3 runs on 7 hits with 4 walks, 2 strikeouts and 1 homerun allowed over 5.1 innings pitched.  He took the loss, his first of the year.

BOWIE BAYSOX (16-28) LOST 7-3 TO BINGHAMTON – AA

  • TJ Nichting went 2 for 4 with 1 double and 1 strikeout.
  • Dean Kremer gave up no runs and 2 hits with 3 walks, 5 strikeouts and 1 homerun allowed over 4.0 innings.  He took the loss in his 2019 Baysox debut.  

FREDERICK KEYS (21-22) WON 6-5 OVER MYRTLE BEACH – A (ADV.)

  • JC Escarra went 1 for 2 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun, 3 RBI and 1 walk; a pitch hit him as well.
  • Michael Baumann gave up 3 runs on 5 hits with no walks, 8 strikeouts and 1 homerun allowed over 4.1 innings pitched.  He did not factor into the decision.

DELMARVA SHOREBIRDS (33-10) LOST 4-2 TO LAKEWOOD – A (LOW)

  • Seamus Curran went 1 for 3 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun, 1 RBI, 1 walk and 1 strikeout.
  • Grayson Rodriguez gave up 1 run on 4 hits with 2 walks, 6 strikeouts and 1 hit batter over 5.0 innings pitched.  He did not factor into the decision.
