The Red Sox scored four times against Mychal Givens and twice against David Hess in extra innings on Fathers Day.

John Means allowed two runs in five innings striking out two and walking two. He gave up seven hits as well.

,Jimmy Yacabonis, Richard Bleier, and Paul Fry allowed no runs. Shawn Armstrong one.

Hanser Alberto had three hits. Stevie Wilkerson and Trey Mancini homed in the 10th.
