NORFOLK TIDES (36-61) LOST 9-4 TO ROCHESTER – AAA

  • Austin Hays went 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored and 2 doubles.
  • Tyler Herb gave up 4 runs on 5 hits with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts over 4.0 innings pitched.  He took the loss to fall to 4-7 on the year.

BOWIE BAYSOX (51-44) WON 1-0 OVER ALTOONA – AA

  • Carlos Perez went 1 for 3 with 1 double and 1 RBI.
  • Jay Flaa gave up 1 hit while striking out 3 over 2.0 scoreless innings of relief pitched.  He earned his first save of the season.

FREDERICK KEYS (38-59) WON GAME 1 8-3 AND LOST GAME 2 4-1 AT POTOMAC – A (ADV.)

GAME 1

  • Jomar Reyes went 3 for 3 with 1 run scored, 1 double, 1 homerun, 3 RBI and was hit by a pitch.
  • Luis Perez struck out 2 and hit 1 batter over 3.0 scoreless and hitless innings of relief pitched.  His record is now 4-1 on the season.

GAME 2

  • Kirvin Moesquit went 1 for 2 with 1 run scored, 1 triple and 1 walk.
  • Blaine Knight gave up 4 runs on 6 hits with 2 walks, 3 strikeouts and 1 hit batter over 3.2 innings pitched.  He is now 0-7 on the year.

DELMARVA SHOREBIRDS (67-30) WON 5-2 OVER LAKEWOOD – A (LOW)

  • JC Encarnacion went 1 for 4 with 2 runs scored, 1 homerun and 2 RBI.
  • Gray Fenter gave up 1 run on 6 hits with 6 strikeouts and 1 hit batter over 3.0 innings pitched.  He did not factor into the decision.

ABERDEEN IRONBIRDS (18-14) WON SUSPENDED GAME 4-3 AND LOST THE SCHEDULED GAME 3-2 WITH CONNECTICUT – A (SHORT)

RESUMED GAME

  • Zach Watson went 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored, 1 homerun and 1 RBI.
  • Griffin McLarty gave up no runs and 1 hit with 1 walk and 1 strikeout over 2.0 innings of relief pitched.  The win was his first.

SCHEDULED GAME

  • Andrew Fregia went 3 for 3 with 1 double.
  • Jake Lyons gave up 3 runs, 1 earned, on 2 hits with 1 walk, 2 strikeouts and 1 hit batter over 2.0 innings pitched.  He took the loss and is now 0-2.
