Tyler Herb gave up 2 runs on 2 hits with 3 walks, 5 strikeouts, 1 hit batter and 1 wild pitch thrown over 6.0 innings pitched in Bowie’s win at Binghamton.  The win improved his Bowie record to 1-2.  He is the Orioles Hangout MiLB Player of the Day.

NORFOLK TIDES (41-65) LOST 11-3 AT LEHIGH VALLEY – AAA

  • Austin Hays went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun and 1 RBI.
  • Bruce Zimmermann gave up 5 runs on 10 hits with 2 walks and 1 strikeout over 4.0 innings pitched.  He lost his Norfolk debut.

BOWIE BAYSOX (57-48) WON 7-2 AT BINGHAMTON – AA

  • Cedric Mullins went 2 for 5 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun and 1 RBI.
  • Cody Sedlock walked 2 and struck out 4 over 3.0 scoreless innings of relief pitched.  He was credited with his first save.  

FREDERICK KEYS (41-64) WON 6-4 OVER POTOMAC – A (ADV.)

  • Zach Jarrett went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun and 1 RBI.
  • Brenan Hanifee gave up 4 runs on 6 hits with 1 walk, 1 strikeout and 2 hit batters over 5.0 innings pitched.  He was credited with the win to improve to 8-9 on the year.

DELMARVA SHOREBIRDS (73-33) LOST 11-4 TO CHARLESTON – A (LOW)

  • Adam Hall went 3 for 4 with 1 run scored, 1 walk, 1 strikeout and was caught stealing.
  • Ryan Wilson gave up 5 runs on 4 hits while walking 4 and striking out 3 over 5.0 innings pitched.  He took the loss to fall to 5-4 on the year.
