Ashur Wojciechowski out-dueled Patrick Corbin for five full innings and walked away with a 7-3 victory over the former World Champions. He struck out five and walked one allowing five hits, two of which were home runs.

Tanner Scott was brilliant for an inning and a third earning Brandon Hyde’s seal of approval.

Mychal Givens and Cole Sulser also provided scoreless relief to close out the game, Sulser notching his fifth save.

Rio Ruiz homered while Jose Iglesias racked up three hits on the night. Hanser Alberto and Andrew Velasquez each collected two hits.
