Career Stats
Quick Scouting Report Update: Little guy with a big swing that can be pitched to at the upper portion if the zone. A good hard worker with an outstanding attitude, Bannon is an easy player to root for, but he doesn’t bring enough defensive value to overcome the shortcomings on the bat. His best position is third base, but his throws can be erratic and he doesn’t move particularly well in on balls. His bat plays better at second base, but he’s adequate at best there with some issues turning the double play.

When he’s on, he works counts well and can show an ability get on base, along with occasional pop in the bat. He’ll need to show that he can handle velocity up in the zone and spin down and away from experienced pitching to come close to his ceiling. He’ll play most of next season at 25-years old so his major league clock is ticking.

He’s a gamer who has found a way to overachieve, so don’t count him out.
