Poor defense doomed the Orioles today.  Tillman was brilliant again. A mix up between Hardy and Jones did not cost the Orioles but two errant plays by Andino cost an early run. A poor outing by Ayala cost another run.  Dylan Bundy came in to clean up Ayala's mess. 

In the ninth, Wieters walked, but the ball four that was a foot outside, was called a strike. Reynolds singled. Thome Doubled.  Machado grounded out and Ryan Flaherty watched strike three. 

Orioles lose 2-1

Yankees lose 5-4
