Jair Jurrjens agrees to deal with Orioles

Jurrjens will receive a $1.5 million base on a Major League deal and can bring his total to $4 million with incentives.

Jurrjens is 26 and is two years away from Free Agency.

Roch Kubatko reports that the Orioles had wanted to sign Jair to a minor league deal.

Jurrgens is a 2011 All-Star game starters who was plagued by injurries and pitched poorly last season. 

He will pitch for the Nederlands in the WBC.
