Britt Ghiroli reports a 3 year, 5.75 million contract with South Korean pitcher Suk-min Yoon.

Yoon could be used as a starter, or the back end of the bullpen for the Orioles.

Yoon can earn as much as $13MM over the course of the deal, reports Chris Cotillo of MLBDailyDish.com  Reaching the required number of games started would give Yoon a $1.25MM bump in his next year's salary, potentially compounding year over year. The deal also permits Yoon to become a free agent after three years and provides protection against a minor league demotion.

The contract calls for a backloaded payday on a $5.575MM total guarantee, Yoon will receive a $675K signing bonus, then earn $750K for the coming season, $1.75MM in 2015, and $2.4MM in 2016.

Update: Yoon has passed his physical and will have a press conference in the next day or two.
