    Minor League Game Summaries 4/18

    Norfolk

           Tides lost 3-to-0

    • Suk-Min Yoon is making progress as tonight's start (5.2, 8 H, 1 ER, 1 HR, 0 BB, 4 K) while not great, went much better than the first two.
    • The Tides were held to just three hits on offense.
    • David Adams was hit by a pitch to the helmet in the 1st and removed for precautionary reasons. Hopefully, he is okay.
    • Henry Urrutia went 1-for-4 but had a fielding error in the outfield.

           Baysox lost 7-to-6

    • Jake Pettit made the start and allowed four runs on 7 hits over 5.2 innings.
    • Christian Walker hit his first home run, a three-run blast in the 3rd; finished 2-for-4.
    • Dariel Alvarez hit a solo homer in the 4th inning and now has a 15-game hitting streak.
    • Kyeong Kang hit a double and finished 2-for-3 as the DH.

            Keys win 3-to-1

    • Branden Kline turned in a great start (7 IP, 4 H, ER, BB, 4 K, ND) for the Keys.
    • Lex Rutledge pitched two scoreless innings with three strikeouts.
    • Matt Hobgood picked up the win in extras, tossing two scoreless frames.
    • Adrian Marin, shortstop prospct, hit his first home run of the year.
    • Lucas Herbst, recently added from Delmarva, went 2-for-5 in the leadoff spot.

           Shorebirds

    • Mitch Horacek turned in his best start yet (6 IP, 5 H, ER, HR, BB, 6 K) with the Shorebirds but did not factor into the decision.
    • Dylan Rheault pitched two scoreless to pick up his 3rd win while Jimmy Yacabonis notched his 4th save in the 9nth inning. Yacabonis still carries a 0.00 ERA on the season.
    • Drew Dosch continues to swing a hot bat and his 2-for-4 night brings his season average up over .300 now.
    • Gregory Lorenzo scored a run and went 3-for-5 in the leadoff spot.
