    NORFOLK (5-14)


    Tides lost 6-to-3

    • Anthony Vazquez was transferred to Norfolk tonight to make the fill-in start for T.J. McFarland and five runs in four innings.
    • Troy Patton made his first appearance on his "rehab assignment" and pitched 1.1 scoreless innings.
    • Henry Urrutia may be heating up as he recorded another multi-hit game.
    • Jemile Weeks leads the Tides with a .314 average after his 2-for-4 game.
    • Cord Phelps had a nice 3-for-4 game batting in the nine hole.

    Baysox won 11-to-1

    • Tim Berry with another impressive outing (6 IP, 3 H, ER, BB, 4 K) for Bowie tonight, finally getting more than enough run support for his first AA win.
    • Helluva night for the Baysox lineup as they crushed four home runs and 16 total hits.
    • Christian Walker continued his tear with a grand slam; finished 3-for-4.
    • The Asian duo of Chih-Hsien Chang and Kyeong Kang both hit home runs.
    • Buck Britton went 3-for-4 with a home run and is batting .372 on the season. The elder Britton has also struck just twice in 78 at bats. Wow.
    • Ronald Bermudez went 2-for-5 and drove in three runs.

    DELMARVA (9-9)

    Shorebirds won 4-to-1

    • Uber prospect Hunter Harvey made the start tonight (4 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 5 BB, 5 K) and was wild but effective over his four innings of work.
    • Dylan Rheault picked up his 4th win already, lowering his ERA to 1.35 with two scoreless innings of work.
    • Jimmy Yacabonis pitched a scoreless 9th for his fifth save and still has a 0.00 ERA.
    • Conor Bierfeldt went 2-for-3 with a RBI double and walk.
    • Mike Yastrzemski hit a triple and finished 2-for-4 in the leadoff spot.
    • Jeff Kemp had a nice 3-for-5 game as well.
