    Kevin Gausman pitched today with the ORioles coming off back to back losses for the first time since June. The Orioles extended their A.L. East lead back to seven games. 

    Starting Pitching

    Kevin Gausman pitched six innings allowing only two hits to go with four walks.

    Final Line: 6 IP, 2 H, ER, 4 BB, 2 Ks, Win

    Relief Pitching

    Darren O'Day, Andrew Miller and Zach Britton all pitched scoreless frames.


    The offense had been held scoreless for 17 innings. Today the Orioles had twelve hits with two doubles from Chris Davis and home runs from Jon Schoop and Steve Pearce.  Adam Jones and J.J. Hardy joined Steve Pearce, Chris Davis and Jon Schoop in the multi hit club. J.J. Hardy and Chris Davis both knocked in runs with clutch hits. 

    Key Moments In The Game

    Ramirez and Kipnis both grounded into double plays to stiffle the Tribe. Delmon Young left his imprint in the wall in Cleveland.  Gausman fielded his position to end the sixth inning with runners on.

    Other Notes/ Musings

    Both of the Indians hits ocurred in the fourth inning. With Toronto's loss today the Yankees have moved into second place, seven games behind the Orioles.
