    Futures are Orioles

A tremendous buzz about both Orioles Futures game participants.

Dylan Bundy pitched the fourth inning and was the first US team pitcher to pitch a scoreless inning. He gave up several singles and was helped by a nice play by his catcher. George Brett did not allow his pitchers to warm up for their innings. Dylan topped out at 96 mph and seemed to have a bit of trouble with a grip on his off speed pitches. He had a very nice mid game interview. Keith Law said that he is his number one minor league prospect.

Manny Machado did not start so that Billy Hamilton could show off his wheels. With the US team leading 6-4 and two in scoring position with only one out,  Manny Machado, who had just entered the game, caught a liner that the announcers were calling a two RBI double with full extension 30 feet into left field and turned to double up the runner at second for the final out. Two runs saved. Manny came to bat with an RBI opportunity, he got down two strikes quickly. Machado then pounded a two RBI double over the head of the leftfielder. Two runs driven in. He later scored.
