Adam Jones hitting the ball hard and not lunging at pitches out of the strike zone.
Pedro Strop. Blazing fastball, and despite blowing a save, striking out four and not giving in.He ended up with a win.
Jim Johnson. Puts some runners on, but has always finished the job.
Matt Wieters. Looking comfortable at the plate. Starting to look like the beast we thought he was.
Chen. Good control. Maybe some stamina issues, but a great upgrade from last year.
Arrietta. Despite his "meltdown" in Anaheim, mostly throwing hard and pitching consistently well.
Jason Hammel. When does the shoe drop? Is this guy for real? Did he really pick up a new pitch? Can he keep this up?
Yes, Chris Davis. Hitting the ball well, and playing a decent, if not flawless first base.
Andino. Fiery, hitting the ball on the nose alot. Looks like he's growing as a player.
Reimold. If he can stay on the field(big if) could be a major factor in the Orioles offense.
Darren O'Day. Looks to be a solid option in Orioles pen.
The rest. Nick, JJ ...well they HAVE to start hitting eventually right?
Nick is showing some signs of it.
Matusz. Getting better? "it cant get no worse"..
Hunter. Stay away from the fat pitches, is still a horse despite average stuff.
Im very worried about Reynolds in every category. He isnt even coming close to hitting the offspeed stuff away.
On the farm: Bundy, Machado, Britton,Tillman, Steve Johnson.
Arm depth could be helpful. Orioles need another bat to come to the rescue.
Wish the Orioles were anywhere in the National league. Man, there are ALOT of bad team over there.
