    Position Prospects Report: Week 2

    by skanar

Not much good news this week. Walker and Delmonico are still hitting well. Marin was fine. Everyone else stunk.

    Delmarva
    1B Christian Walker: Since 4/14: 20 PA, .400/.520/.550. Season: 65 PA, .351/.433/.474 (.907) 8/8 BB/K
    SS Adrian Marin: Since 4/14: 20 PA, .263/.300/.316. Season: 45 PA, .286/.340/.381 (.721) 3/12 BB/K
    3B Torsten Boss: Since 4/14: 28 PA, .231/.286/.308. Season: 58 PA, .189/.271/.264 (.535) 5/14 BB/K
CF Roderick Bernadina: Since 4/14: Did not play. Season: 24 PA, .364/.423/.491 (.914) 2/4 BB/K

Walker's still raking. Marin is hitting slightly worse, Boss is hitting slightly better. Bernadina was injured.

    Frederick
    C Michael Ohlman: Since 4/14: 5 PA, .400/.571/.400. Season: 39 PA, .182/.308/.273 (.580) 6/9 BB/K
    1B Nick Delmonico: Since 4/14: 24 PA, .263/.417/.632. Season: 51 PA, .325/.471/.600 (1.071) 11/11 BB/K
    CF Glynn Davis: Since 4/14: 28 PA, .182/.321/.273. Season: 65 AB, .224/.308/.379 (.687) 7/16 BB/K

Ohlman hasn't played, not sure the reason (injury?). Delmonico continues to hit; After last week's power outburst, Davis had a much more typical week for him: walks, speed (one 3B), no power.

    Bowie
    IF Ty Kelly: Since 4/14: 34 PA, .188/.235/.219. Season: 78 PA, .246/.366/.354 (.720) 13/14 BB/K
    CF Xavier Avery: Since 4/14: 38 PA, .200/.368/.333. Season: .288/.381/.438 (.819) 10/26 BB/K

Kelly has cooled way off, still drawing walks but not much else. Avery walked a LOT this week, especially for him, and the overall numbers are still good at a level that should be easy for him.

    Norfolk
    SS Jonathan Schoop: Since 4/14: 27 PA, .185/.185/.259. Season: .172/.238/.259 (.497) 3/13 BB/K
    OF LJ Hoes: Since 4/14: 26 PA, .136/.269/.182. Season: .208/.311/.283 (.594) 8/9 BB/K

    Oof.
