Everyone who has been to Camden Yards during a big game can attest that Baltimore fans can be as loud as any, but game one’s first inning was something special.

Orioles fans were ready and they were loud. Really loud. The energy they brought on every strike call as Chris Tillman struck out the side was something that even surprised some of the players.

When asked if he had ever experienced anything like that, rookie Jonathan Schoop said, “Maybe in the Little League World Series, but nothing like that!”

Schoop wasn’t the only one, Steve Pearce was also impressed. “It was amazing. Never heard anything like that.”

So how pumped was Chris Tillman with all the crowd noise, “I don’t know, I blacked out!”
