Orioles Only Undefeated Team In Baseball: Win 5-4


The Orioles are on a 4-0 start to the season, the Yankees have but one win in five.

Player of Game:

– Hyun Soo Kim was 3 for 4 with the Game Winning RBI. He wore short pants today.

Joey Rickard pinch ran for him and was thrown out trying to steal

Starting Pitching:
 Kevin Gausman allowed 4 Runs in 4.2 IP, 8 H, 3 BB, 4 K on 97 pitches.
– He was not sharp, but the offense (and bullpen) bailed him out

Highlighted hitting moments:

– With one out, the Orioles behind and a lefty specialist in, Chris Davis doubled to start the winning rally.

Highlighted pitching moments:

– The Orioles Pen pitched four and a third scoreless innings today.

– The Orioles Pen has thrown 15 2/3 scoreless innings so far this season.
– Mychal Givens got the win.

– Zach Britton induced a ground out after a strike out the a Manny Machado errant throw single and a blast caught by Adam Jones. The crowd went home delirious.

Highlighted Defense
Welington Castillo called another fantastic game. He threw out Aaron Hicks as well.

–  Seth Smith made a game saving catch in right over his head on a full run towards the wall.
