A pitchers duel, tied a single run apeacie in the bottom of the seventh in Atlanta. Two leaky pens. Fifteen long innings. And a Manny Machado show for all the world to see.

Much derided Alex Cobb at his finest as an Oriole. Seven full innings and only one run allowed. Two walks and four hits.

It was the Chris Davis show threw the first part of the game. Two walks, an opposite field home run, and a timely sacrifice fly. Danny Valencia¬†improved his OPS to .823 with two singles and a walk in three at bats. Jon Schoop doubled and the game was seemingly won…


Zach Britton allowed four ninth inning runs and the game played on.
Darren O’Day, Miguel Castro and Mike Wright Jr. pitched scoreless for five innings. Wright for two and the improbable win.

Manny stole a base, and Craig Gentry was gunned down. Jace Peterson was credited with an improbable outfield assist.

Michael Williams has been an Orioles fan since the sixties when his family moved from Reading Pa to York Pa. Also, the Phillies and 1964. His Grandfather got the Chef Boyardee box seats and Mike was hooked. Brooks Robinson calls him not a fan, but a friend.
