Andrew Cashner pitched another six inning three run quality start. The Orioles did not get him more runs than he allowed.

Tim Beckham had a soft return to the Orioles lineup with a no hit in four at bat performance. Chris Davis was zero for three. Caleb Joseph was back to his pre-demotion form with an ought for three performance.

Manny Machado went 2-for-3 with a walk raising his season’s batting average to .305. ANd the crowd went wild. His partner in crime, Jon Schoop, homered in four attempts raising his batting average to .205.

The Bullpen was solid after Miguel Castro lost the game. He entered completely erratic and loaded the bases, recording only a single out. Tanner Scott, Brad Brach, Darren O’Day and Zach Britton did not allow any of their own runs.

Darren O’Day went insane after having a balk called and was tossed from the game. Then Buck “Snowglobe” Walter was thrown out as well. What a Christmas in July.
