Gray Fenter allowed three hits and a walk over seven full innings – he struck out four and earned the honor of being called Orioles Hangout MiLB player of the day. Gray is fully recovered from his Tommy John surgery and joins a stable of promising young arms for the organization.

Norfolk Tides (65 – 59) Won 7 to 6 – Triple-A

  • Josh Rogers pitched five innings allowing three runs with six hits and  walk. The former Yankee lefty also struck out two.

Bowie Baysox (58 – 65) Won 3 to 1 – Double-A

  • Yusniel Diaz homered and drove in three runs.
  • Keegan Akin pitched six and two thirds innings of shutout baseball allowing two hits and no walks while striking out six.

Frederick Keys (58 – 66) Lost 6 to 4 – Class A Advanced

Delmarva Shorebirds (61 – 60) Lost 3 to 2 – Class A

  • Zach Jarrett doubled and singled.
  • Nick Gruener pitched four innings of three hit, no run, baseball while striking out three.

Aberdeen IronBirds (14 – 21) Won 1 to 0 – Class A Short 

Aberdeen IronBirds (28 – 31) Won 5 to 4 – Class A Short Season

  • Adam Hall was two for three with a stolen base.
  • Kevin Magee pitched two perfect innings while striking out three.
