HHP: 0-83

I didn’t realize it was this bad, but Melewski wrote…

“The Orioles were 0-82 this year when trailing after seven innings. They could have changed that with a win.”

0-83. That means in 61% of the games to date, the game is over early. Yeah, I know many will say they’re over before they begin, but I digress. Conversely, that means the O’s are 40-13 when tied or leading after 7.

Be that as it may, here’s your guide to watching Orioles baseball in September, assuming that you might watch.

Check the box score after 7 innings. If the Orioles are losing:
– Change the channel
– Read a book
– Actually spend some time with your family
– Take the dog outside
– Catch up on your sleep; you’ll feel better the next day.

There are many more things to do, but you get the idea.

Michael Williams has been an Orioles fan since the sixties when his family moved from Reading Pa to York Pa. Also, the Phillies and 1964. His Grandfather got the Chef Boyardee box seats and Mike was hooked. Brooks Robinson calls him not a fan, but a friend. He has been a member of the Orioles Hangout since early in the New Millennium and Managing Editor since 2011. Or so it seems. He lives in Harrisburg PA, down by the river. Not currently in a van.
