Grayson Rodriguez, the Baltimore Orioles #5 prospect per MLB Pipeline, won his second game for the Delmarva Shorebirds.  In a quality start, he pitched 6.0 scoreless innings and gave up 1 hit and 3 walks while striking out 10.  He is the Orioles Hangout MiLB Player of the Day.

NORFOLK TIDES (2-7) WON 6-5 OVER TOLEDO – AAA

·       D.J. Stewart went 3 for 3 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun, 2 RBI, 1 walk and 1 stolen base.

·       Keegan Akin made a quality start by giving up 2 runs on 4 hits with no walks and 10 strike outs over 6.0 innings.

BOWIE BAYSOX (2-6) LOST 4-2 TO HARRISBURG – AA

·       Yusniel Diaz went 2 for 5 with 1 run scored, 1 triple and 1 strike out.

·       Hunter Harvey gave up 4 runs on 3 hits with 3 walks and 6 strikeouts over 4.0 innings.

FREDERICK KEYS (2-6) WERE POSTPONED IN SALEM – A (ADV.)

DELMARVA SHOREBIRDS (6-1) WON 5-3 OVER LAKEWOOD – A (LOW)

·       Robert Neustrom went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.

·       Cadyn Grenier went 3 for 5 with 1 run scored and 1 strike out.
