  • Preston Palmeiro went 3 for 4 with 1 run scored, 1 double and 2 RBI.
  • Zac Lowther gave up 3 runs on 5 hits with 4 walks, 5 strikeouts and 2 wild pitches thrown over 5.0 innings pitched.  With the win, his record improved to 9-5.

  • David Lebron gave up 2 runs on 5 hits with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts over 5.0 innings pitched.  He took the loss to fall to 2-4 on the year.

  • Trevor Craport went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI and 1 stolen base.
  • Blaine Knight gave up 6 runs on 5 hits with 2 walks, 5 strikeouts, 2 homeruns allowed and 1 wild pitch thrown over 4.1 innings pitched.  He is now 0-6.

DELMARVA SHOREBIRDS (60-25) WON 4-2 OVER HAGERSTOWN – A (LOW)

  • Reed Hayes gave up 1 unearned run on 1 hit with 2 walks and 1 strikeout over 1.0 inning of relief pitched.  He earned his first save of the season.

  • Clay Fisher went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored, 1 double, 1 homerun and 1 RBI.
  • Ryan Conroy gave up 2 runs on 4 hits with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts over 5.0 innings pitched.  He is now 2-2 on the year.

GULF COAST ORIOLES (8-2) LOST GAME 1 10-6 AND WON GAME 2 5-1 WITH THE GCL PIRATES – ROOKIE

GAME 1

  • Christopher Burgess went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI, 1 walk and 1 strikeout.
  • Andrew Ciolli gave up 6 runs, 5 earned, on 3 hits with 4 walks, 1 wild pitch thrown and 1 hit batter over 0.2 innings of relief.  He took the loss, which evened his record at 1-1.

GAME 2

  • Edidson Rojas went 1 for 3 with 1 run scored, 1 homerun, 4 RBI and 1 strikeout.
  • Jason Montville gave up 1 hit with 1 walk, 2 strikeouts, 1 wild pitch and 1 hit batter over 2.1 scoreless innings of relief.  He earned the win, his second without a loss.
