Kevin Magee gave up 4 hits and walked 1 while striking out 10 over 6.0 scoreless innings pitched in Aberdeen’s shutout of Vermont. He improved his record to 3-5 on the year with the win. He is the Orioles Hangout MiLB Player of the Day.
NORFOLK TIDES (48-70) WON 3-0 OVER SYRACUSE – AAA
- Ryan Mountcastle went 2 for 4 with 1 double, 2 RBI and 1 strikeout.
- Keegan Akin gave up 3 hits while walking 1 and striking out 7 over 6.0 scoreless innings pitched. He was credited with the win, his fifth.
BOWIE BAYSOX (64-54) LOST 3-1 AT RICHMOND – AA
- Anderson Feliz went 1 for 3 with 1 run scored, 1 walk and 1 strikeout.
- Zac Lowther gave up 3 runs (2 earned) on 4 hits with 2 walks, 8 strikeouts and 2 hit batters over 7.0 innings pitched. He took the loss and is now 12-6 on the season.
FREDERICK KEYS (47-70) LOST 9-7 TO DOWN EAST – A (ADV.)
