Wei-Yin Chen struggled and so did the bullpen as the Angels crushed the Orioles 14-3.

Starting Pitcher: Wei-Yim Chen (0-2, 2.89)

After striking out five through three innings of shutout ball, the wheels fell off the cart for Wei-Yin Chen in the 4th as the Angels pounded him around for seven runs, including a grand slam home run to take a 7-0 lead.

Aristides Aquino smacked a two-run homer in the bottom of the 4th to get two back and cut the lead to 7-2.

Fresh off the IL, Wilmer Font came on in the 5th and the Angels took little time getting to him for a 3-run homer and late and RBI-single that made it 11-2.

DJ Stewart smacked a solo home run in the bottom of the 5th, his 5th of the season, to make it 11-3.

In the 8th, the Angels beat around Miguel Castro for three runs to make it a 14-3 shallacking.

The game ended 14-3, dropping the Orioles to 14-25 in the season

Norfolk Lost 3-5 (13-16)

Bruce Zimmermann (4.06) allowed five runs in just 4.1 IP. CF Steve Wilkerson (.212) went 3-for-4.

Bowie won 2-1 (19-10)

Kyle Bradish (4.97) allowed just one run over 5.1 IP, striking out four. LF TJ Nichting (.315) went 2-for-4 with his 1st home run of the season.

Keys lost 6-11 (15-15)

Adley Rutschman (.297) his his 6th home run of the season and Doran Turchin hit his 2nd. Blaine Knight (10.38) struggled once again.

Delmarva win 7-5 (14-16)

3B Joseph Ortiz (.298) went 3-for-3 with a home run and walk, and DH Ben Breazeale went 2-for-4 with a home run and 4 RBIs. Zach Peek (7.29) allowed four runs in just 3.1 IP.
