Starting Pitcher: John Means (2-3, 6.33)

RF Aristides Aquino continues his hot start to his Orioles career with a three-run homer in the 1st inning to put the Orioles up 3-0.

John Means shut down the Indians through four innings, but in the 5th, the home run bit him again when he gave up a 2-run home run to cut the lead to 3-2.

Means, who has been a giant disappointment in his 2nd big league season, gave up three consecutive hits to start off the 6th to score a run and leave runners at 1st and 2nd with no outs when Brandon Hyde had seen enough. He brought in Tanner Scott to try and quell the Indians rally.

A pop up and strikeout and it looked like Scott would get out of it, but this is an OOTP simulation, where batters hit about .450 with two outs it seems and sure enough, a three run bomb made it 6-3 Indians. The Indians then had more two-out heroics smack inning three more hits and taking walk to go up 8-3.

I really don’t understand why this simulation has so many amazing two-out rallies, but it really is way too often not to be some kind of glitch. Either way, Scott was awful and literally has pitched his way back to the minor leagues. He can not be trusted and honestly, even though you may get lights out Scott, Scott the awful shows up way too much in the this game.

Brought out for the 7th because Hyde didn’t want to blow his bullpen, Scott struck out the first two batters of the inning and then guess what? A solo home run with two outs made it 9-3. It really is quite ridiculous.

Awful Robbie Erlin came on and gave up two more runs and the Orioles fall 11-3. The Orioles fall to an embarrassing 14-27. Team could literally roll out a high school squad and they might not pitch as poorly.
