O’s bats stay silent in 3-1 loss to Rays

DJ Stewart went 3-for-5 with two doubles, but the rest of the offense managed just two others hits and struck out 12 times as the Rays no surprisingly beat the Orioles 3-1.

Asher Wojciecowski (3.86) returned from the injured list and allowed three earned runs in 5.2 IP before newly acquired Joely Rodriguez and Miguel Castro pitched the final 2.1 shutout innings of relief.

Austin Hays (.263) went 0-for-4 with 4 Ks and is in a 2-for-21 with 9 Ks slump.
