Cody Sedlock gave Norfolk a quality start but had nothing to show for it due to a lack of support from the offense.  The right-hander allowed 2 runs on a 5th inning homerun, 4 total hits, a walk and struck out 8 over 6.0 innings of work.  Sedlock also threw a wild pitch.  He is the Orioles Hangout MiLB Player of the Day.

NORFOLK TIDES (45-66) LOST 10-1 IN DURHAM – AAA

  • Adley Rutschman went 1 for 3 with a homerun, 1 run scored, 1 RBI and a walk.
  • Kyle Stowers went 1 for 4.
  • SP: Cody Sedlock allowed 2 runs (all on a homerun) on 4 hits while walking 1, striking out 8 and throwing a wild pitch over 6.0 innings.  He was the losing pitcher.
